Though spared early in the pandemic, the country of Laos in southeast Asia has recently experienced a surge in COVID cases, resulting in a month-long lockdown. This has caused economic hardship and food shortages for many.   The Laos Mission Initiative, in partnership with the Lao Samphan Methodist Church, is committed to providing food packs and health kits to 1,200 families (about 5,000 individuals).
