Mrs. Mildred Oglesby -
Mildred was preceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Dr. Fredrick Heath, Jr. She served faithfully by his side as he served these churches in the West Ohio Conference: Residence Park, Dayton 1966; Family Life Ministry (L) 1970; Gaines (C) 1972; Supt Toledo Dist 1988; Disability Leave 1994; Ammons (C) 1996. Mildred also served many years as a lay leader as well as serving the West Ohio Conference Co-Lay Leader.
Her memorial service will be held at at Gaines UMC, 5707 Madison Rd, Cincinnati 45227 on Saturday, August 2. Visitation will be 11am followed by service 12:00p.
Funeral service at St James UMC, 3715 Utica Sellersville Rd, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 on 8/11. Visitation at 10:30 and Service at 12p. She'll be buried there.

Gary Wood -
Gary served as a Local Pastor in the West Ohio Conference and was currently appointed in retirement at Gratis UMC. His other appointments include Greenbush (DS) 1991; Greenbush-State Road (DS) 1993; State Road (DS) 2001; State Road- Gratis Charge (DS) 2002; and Gratis (DS) 2004.
Gary is survived by his wife Sandra Wood, daughter Wendy (Tony) White of West Alexandria, OH and son David Wood, Beavercreek, OH. Three grandchildren Jeremy White, Chad (Heather) White, Whitney (Jimmy) Kreitzer, all from West Alexandria and Aaron Wood and family. Five great-grandchildren, Dylan White, Violet White, Ryan White, Lanie and Wren Kreitzer. Brother Bary (Jane) Wood, sister Faith (Tom) Caden, half-brother Monte Rice, sister-in-law Peggy Burke and brother-in-law Rodger Collins. Numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and parishioners.
Visitation will be at Preble Memory Gardens 3377 US 35 West Alexandria, OH 45381 on Wednesday, July 16th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with an additional visitation at Preble Memory Gardens Thursday July 17th from noon - 1:00 pm with the funeral following at 1:00 pm. Obituary Link

Beverly Warner and Jon Warner -
Beverly was born on January 1, 1944 to the late Grover and Elizabeth (Sheets) Price. Besides her parents, she is preceded by her son, James Shelby Warner and sister, Sharon Gorrell.
Beverly was a proud graduate of Northmont High School and earned her degree in elementary education from Manchester College in Manchester, Indiana. She began her career as an elementary school teach for Hillsboro and North Adams Schools, nurturing young hearts and minds with patience and love.
Beverly's life was a testimony to her faith, marked by love, prayer, and joyful obedience to God's call. Beverly served as a Part-time Local Pastor at the Sugar Tree Ridge Charge (Fairfax, Sonner's Chapel, Sugar Tree Ridge) - Highland County - 1987-1995 and at Hillsboro First - Highland County - 1996-2000
In addition to her pastoral ministry, Beverly worked as a Care Coordinator for Hills and Dales for 10 years, continuing her mission of compassion and Christ-like service.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, teacher, pastor, and missionary. She cherished quiet moments with a good book and a glass of iced tea, always finding joy in the simple blessings God provided. Though her earthly journey has ended, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life, knowing her and Jon now rests in the arms of Jesus.
Jon was born on October 23, 1939 in Miami County to the late Ernest and Esther (Iddings) Warner. Besides his parents, Jon is also preceded by his son, James Shelby Warner and sister, Jane Etter.
Jon graduate from Milton-Union High School and McPherson College in McPherson Kansas with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. He loved being outside, farming, hunting and fishing and enjoyed the company of having a good dog all his life. Jon was a member of the Methodist Church and supported many missions over the years. Both he and Beverly traveled to Haiti 20 times over their lives to help assist with One Mission Society there.
On June 19, 1965, Jon and Beverly were married, sharing 60 years of marriage, faithfully serving God, their family and community.
Jon and Beverly are survived by their daughter, Melissa Gillespie, grandchildren, Katy Warner, Kimberly (Dionne) Warner, Cora Gillespie and Chad (Iceces) Gillespie, great grandchildren, Tara (Lane) Emerick, Ava Morris, Dexter Fiehrer, Liam Heagy and Casey Gillespie, Jon's sisters, Carol Shroyer and Ann Warner, Beverly's brother, Richard (Mary) Price, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Services have previousely been held at Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union in Winchester, Ohio.

Neldon Dale Adams, 86, having resided at the Southern AZ Veteran Home for almost 7 years, passed away June 27, 2025 after a long battle with ill health. McClellan R. Nicholson -
In loving memory of McClellan R. Nicholson of Spring Hill, Tennessee, who departed this world at the age of 85. He leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Flora May Hollis Cotrone -
Flora May Hollis Cotrone is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Nunzio Donald Cotroneis, survived by her children Marcia Hansen (Russell), Allan Cotrone (Kris Nebel), Steven Cotrone (Linda Price), and Brenda Balas (Paul) and grandchildren Laura Hansen, Sarah Hansen, Jamie Cotrone Mills, Jack Cotrone, Samantha Stucky, Ella Stucky, Stephanie Cotrone Dashiell, Christina Cotrone, Anna Balas, Benjamin Balas, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nephews and nieces, and many life-long friends.
Flora was born in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI and raised in St. Clair Shores, MI, graduating from South Lake High School in 1948. Her father was a Methodist pastor, who, together with her mother, served churches in southeastern Michigan. From age 10, Flora often played the piano or organ to accompany worship services. She graduated from Chicago Evangelistic Institute Bible College (Vennard College) in 1953, where she met her future husband, Nunzio Cotrone. Nunzio became a United Methodist Pastor and he and Flora served churches in Iowa, Michigan, and primarily in the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church for these congregations: New Lothrop, Juddville (Flint) Detroit Conf 1957; Alger First (L) OH Conf 1960; Brecon (C) 1964; Groveport (CS) 1971; Sulphur Grove (DN) 1978; St James Miamisburg (DN) 1981; Aley (DS) 1990; Shiloh (C) 1993; Retired 1997
Flora was a professional organist and pianist, serving as church organist for several churches and teaching piano lessons to hundreds of children and adults over her career. She shared her love of music with her children and grandchildren, all of whom pursued some level of musical interest and instruction. Flora enjoyed stamp collecting, crossword puzzles, reading, sewing, and crocheting, and attending tractor shows and flea markets. She was an active member of various groups within the United Methodist Church, and an English as a Second Language tutor. She cared for beloved pets Missy, Dinah, David, and Cindy, and a rabbit or two.
Flora is remembered by many as a caring mother and grandmother, a kind, listening and supportive ear, a faithful and witty friend, an encouraging and inspiring piano teacher, and a compassionate mentor to families migrating to the area. Her gentle nature and steadfast commitment to nurturing others earned her the respect and affection of many.
The family wishes to thank Brookdale of Troy for their loving care of Flora over the past two years.

Rev. Richard Allen Dunbar -
Rev. Richard Allen Dunbar passed away of June 11, 2025.
Born on December 2, 1939, Reverend Dunbar dedicated his life to faith, family, and community. He was a devoted husband to Juana M. Dunbar and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Reverend Dunbar was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Vernon Dunbar; his siblings, Vernon Jr., Phyllis, and Howard; and his beloved son, Richard.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Juana M. Dunbar; and his children: Christina, Damond (Sandra), Marc (Alina), LaVant, and LaMont. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his grandchildren: Heather, Alexandria, Kyndal, Marc II, Devon, Amber, Zoe, Zuriah, and Maleki; and great-grandchildren: Emmarie, Marc III, Jaxxon, and Lincoln.
Reverend Dunbar served faithfully at numerous congregations, including New Horizon United Methodist Church, Asbury North United Methodist Church, King Avenue United Methodist Church, Centenary United Methodist Church, Covenant United Methodist Church, and Wesley Church of Hope United Methodist Church. His ministry was marked by compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. He officiated countless weddings, offered counsel and comfort to many, and nurtured both young and old through his spiritual leadership.
His presence was a source of light and strength, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know him. The family would like to thank National Church Residences Hospice for their exceptional care and comfort during the end of life. A celebration of Reverend Dunbar’s life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Christ United Methodist Church, located at 1480 Zettler Road, Columbus, Ohio 43227. Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following.

Joyce (Gineman) Eichar -
Joyce (Gineman) Eichar, 89, was the spouse of Rev. Paul H. Eichar on November 24, 1957, who prodeeded her in death.
Eichar is survived by her daughters, Miriam (Hank) Flores of North Baltimore; Betty (James, Jr.) Zeigler of North Baltimore; and Denise Flis of Edmond, OK; her son Jon (Rose) Eichar of North Baltimore; her grandchildren, Ashley, Ray, Rachel, Nathan, Jessica (Jonathan), James (Jamie), John (Kristina), Kelly (Bryce), Daniel, Josh (Erin), and Jordan; her great-grandchildren, Adam, Jackson, Bennie, Jayme, James, Jr., Madilynn, Ruth, Gabe, Johhon, Graeme, Nora, Ivy, Odin, Leighton and Harper.
Joyce was a registered nurse for over 35 years serving and caring for patients at Marysville Hospital, Tiffin Mercy Hospital, and the Physician's Office of Dr. Lapica & Pagarigan for 13 years, the Wood County Hospital for 11 years, and the Fairfield Mercy Hospital for 13 years. Joyce also served faithfully along side Paul at the five parishes where they were assigned.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Megan Kerr officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Memorial Fund, North Baltimore and/or North Baltimore Meals on Wheels and/or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.

Mrs. Margaret Tomer -
Mrs. Margaret Tomer at the age of 93.
She was the wife of Rev. Albert Tomer, who passed away in 2014. Together they served these congregations: Greaves (Lancaster, England) 1955; South Somerset, Massachusetts 1956; Kenton Epworth 1960; Toledo Broadway 1964; Church of the Saviour (C) 1971; Supt Cincinnati Dist 1985; Mason (W) 1988; Retired 1994; Clifton Assoc (C) 2000
She met her husband, Albert Tomer, at The London School of Economics, where their love blossomed. The couple married in England in 1955 and moved to the United States in 1956, beginning a new chapter filled with joy and dedication to family and community. Together, they were devoted partners until Albert's passing in 2014.
Margaret's professional journey was marked by her Master's Degree in Gifted Education and significant contributions as the Gifted Coordinator in the Clermont County School District. Her passion for teaching earned her the prestigious title of Educator of the Year in Ohio in 1990. She dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and helping students realize their full potential.
A true lover of the arts, Margaret had an enduring passion for acting and theater, both directing and performing in various plays. Her strong faith anchored her throughout her life; she was actively involved in her church, where she taught Bible study courses that inspired and uplifted those around her.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as her nephew Steven (Sarah) Terry. She joins her late husband Albert, her brother Geoffrey Terry, and her parents William and Clara Terry, her nephew Richard Terry and niece Anne Huett in eternal rest.
Visitation with family will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Clifton United Methodist Church, 3416 Clifton Ave. Memorials may be made in her honor to Clifton United Methodist Church. We invite all who knew and loved Margaret to join in memories of this extraordinary woman.

Rev. Darrel Robert Loar -
Rev. Loar passed away at the age of 96.
Darrel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was defined by his deep faith, quiet wisdom, and genuine kindness. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert “Mark” Loar; siblings Winona Downhour, Georgia Purdy, and Deane Loar; and his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Sandra Loar, and his former wife, Ruth Ann Loar. He is also survived by his sons, Mike (Janna) Loar and Tim (Brenda) Loar; grandchildren Brittany (Sean) Saffell, Jackie (Nick) Wiedenhoft, Brooke Lucas, Carly (John) Mitchell, and Mackenzie (Brian) Ogrin; and seven great-grandchildren, with an eighth on the way.
Darrel served many churches in the West Ohio Conference as a United Methodist pastor. He began his ministry in 1950 as a circuit rider pastor serving two congregations in southern Ohio. He retired in 1991 after serving a total of ten churches during his 41 years in the ministry.
