Greetings in Christ Jesus, At this writing, Cynthia and I are in Zimbabwe on the campus of Africa University, the "School of Dreams in the Valley of Hope." Bishop and Mrs. Holston of the South Carolina Conference lead the core group. The group includes people from at least four other Annual Conferences and several ecumenical participants.

What I want to say to you again is thank you for your consistency in supporting this remarkable institution of higher education. Now 30 years old, it has 2400 students from 26 African countries studying in four colleges. There are over 12,000 graduates of your Africa University. In addition to our support of the University through Connectional Giving, the West Ohio Conference has one endowed scholarship to support a student. My hope is we will imagine doing more in the future.

January is off to a roaring start. I've got two Leadership Clinics this month that I hope you are registered for. At the end of the month, I will host a Town Hall to answer questions about the General Conference and a few other topics, too. You may register here to attend the Town Hall webinar. Finally, hold our delegates to the North Central Jurisdictional Conference in your prayers as they participate in a Special Session to be held on January 23, online. The primary matter in front of the delegates will be determining the Episcopal Areas that our Jurisdiction will have effective September 1, 2024. More on this when you tune in to the Town Hall.

Yours in Christ Jesus,
