You're Invited to a District Laity Tailgate Gathering!
One of the greatest strengths of the United Methodist connection is the relationships we share. Across our churches, communities, and districts, God is working through the ministry of laypeople who lead, serve, encourage, and make disciples every day.
Laity Across West Ohio are invited to one of the District Laity Tailgate Gatherings scheduled in each district. Each Tailgate is an informal event to connect laity, build new relationships, share ideas, and celebrate the many ways God is working through our congregations.
Whether you are a lay leader, ministry volunteer, committee member, Sunday school teacher, or simply someone who cares deeply about the mission of the church, you are invited to join us.
There is no complicated agenda. Just come ready for fun, conversation, fellowship, and encouragement, as you connect with others who share a passion for serving Christ and strengthening local churches.

The purpose of these gatherings is simple: building relationships. As United Methodists, we are stronger when we know one another, learn from one another, and support one another in ministry. Together, we can encourage one another, share ideas, strengthen local churches, and celebrate God's work across West Ohio.
Bring a friend, invite others from your congregation, and join us for a gathering in your district. There is a place for YOU at these tailgates, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Hosted by the West Ohio Conference Board of Laity
