Rooted in Christ. Growing in Grace. Living the Mission.
At the heart of the Christian journey is discipleship — walking together in faith, growing in Christ, and living out the Gospel in real and transformative ways. The Office of Discipleship is here to equip and encourage churches across our conferences to cultivate a culture of deep, grace-filled discipleship rooted in small groups and shared life.
We believe discipleship isn’t a program — it’s a way of life. Through small group communities, people are invited to journey together, ask honest questions, support one another, and become more like Christ in the process. This kind of life-on-life discipleship changes hearts, churches, and communities.
What We Do
- Support for Small Group Discipleship: Resources, training, and coaching to help churches develop intentional, relational discipleship groups.
- Church Revitalization: Practical support for congregations seeking spiritual renewal, renewed mission, and thriving community life.
- Leadership Development: Tools, cohorts, and encouragement for lay and clergy leaders to grow in faithful and effective leadership.
- Collaborative Ministry: We work closely with the Office of Connectional Ministries and the Office of Fresh Starts and New Beginnings to offer integrated support for new ministries, ministries for all ages, and connectional vitality.
Let’s Journey Together
Wherever your church is on the journey — whether seeking renewal, launching a new group, or supporting your leaders — the Office of Discipleship is here to walk alongside you. Together, we can nurture faithful communities that reflect Christ’s love and bring transformation to the world.
