The United Methodist Volunteers in Mission will offer a virtual 4-week Team Leader Training course via Zoom. This training is for first-time mission team leaders who may have led teams in the past or taken the training previously and are seeking updated information. All are welcome!

With experienced team leaders as instructors, you will learn how to plan and lead a mission experience in Ohio, the United States, or around the world. You will also receive checklists, timelines, team forms, and practical resources to spiritually nurture your team.

This training will be held Thursday nights, Sept 3, 10, 17, and 24th at 6:00 pm CST/7:00 pm EST for 1.5-2 hours. Each Training will focus on theology of mission, practical advice for leading a team, and tips for traveling with a team.

Participants must attend all sessions to complete the training.

NOTE: Registration is handled via Google Forms. During registration, a $20 donation is requested but not required for the training but appreciated. Your gift will be made to UMVIM and not be used for administrative purposes, but to promote and develop mission resources.
