Go Grant Requirements

Our 2027 Grant Applications will be available September 2026 and will include the Ohio Episcopal Area!

Once the East Ohio and West Ohio Fresh Starts Committees, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee, the Emerging Generations Team, the Transformative Discipleship Committee, The Just Mission Team and The Creation Care Task Force, and the Leadership Development Lead Team decide on the available grants, we will provide all grants opportunities that will be available for 2027.

• Eligibility: Only chartered United Methodist churches and campuses of chartered UMCs within the West Ohio Conference and the East Ohio Conference are eligible to apply.
• Disaffiliation Clause: If a church disaffiliates from the United Methodist Church within seven years of receiving a Go Grant, the full amount of the grant must be repaid to the East Ohio Conference or the West Ohio Conference.
• Limit per Church: Each church or campus may receive only one Go Grant during the 2027 grant cycle.
