Kamina Children's Home

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

The Kamina Children’s Home provides a future with hope and possibility for youth who were orphaned by war or disease. They are gifted, intelligent, faith-filled, beautiful children of God. The United Methodist Church in North Katanga and West Ohio have shown them that they matter. Our continued support allows them to live into the calling God has given them. Please prayerfully consider how you can invest in their lives.

  • Contribute financially—provide wholistic care and formation!
    • $3,500 will cover the costs for one youth during the year, outside of tution. That is less than $10 per day.
      • Of this amount, $8 a day provides 3 meals for a youth.
    • Tuition is required by the government to attend school.
      • $300 will send a youth to secondary school for the year.
      • $500 will send a youth to Kamina University for the year.
    • For youth who will soon be leaving KCH, a business center will help them start small businesses and earn income for themselves.
