UMFWO Vacation Bible School Mini-Grants 2026

The United Methodist Foundation of West Ohio is pleased to continue offering mini-grants for 2026 VBS programs in West Ohio, courtesy of the Clara’s Kiddies/Jesse’s Vine Endowment. Grants of $250-$1000 will be available for curriculum, supplies, staff costs, or other expenses related to the production of Vacation Bible School programs in West Ohio churches. Does your VBS program reach underserved communities?
(On this question we want to know more about who is attending your VBS program and about your efforts to reach underserved communities in your area. Underserved communities can be anywhere there are children who may not have the resources to attend your program due to transportation, lack of adult support, non-Christian families, language-barriers, or other issues)
For this answer, please provide as much detail as you can. For example, if you are planning to use this grant to purchase curriculum, please identify cost. Or if you are planning to use these grant dollars to buy supplies, please specify what you are purchasing and how much you believe it to cost.
Answers to this question should either address 1) deficits such as lack of funding for your program and/or a change in circumstances for the church; or 2) a desire to expand, improve or enhance your existing program. Please specify what those improvements or enhancements would be and why you are making them.
