Worship Resources for Sunday, May 10 – Lead Courageously

The vision is bold: to help endow 500 theological scholarships annually – in perpetuity.

The need is great. In the United States, nearly three out of every four clergy have earned a Master of Theology. But outside of the U.S. that percentage is much lower: fewer than 5% of clergy possess a Theology degree.

Miracle Sunday next week will strengthen long-term access to theological education outside the United States by building a permanent endowment – ensuring that future leaders around the globe are equipped to serve.

  • When leaders are formed, congregations grow stronger.
  • When congregations grow stronger, communities find hope.
  • When one part of the body is strengthened, the whole Church thrives.

A video testimony:
We have already heard inspiring stories from leaders who are studying and serving the church because of support for theological education. Their courage reminds us that the Holy Spirit is at work in every corner of the world.

Today we hear another testimony from Rares (pronounced Rare – sh) from Romania, whose ministry is shaping the lives of refugees who have fled war-torn Ukraine.
