Starting Well

Pastoral transitions are a regular part of our United Methodist tradition; and with each transition there is opportunity to start well in the new ministry setting.  West Ohio Conference’s Regional Missional Specialists are hosting Starting Well equipping sessions for pastors and leadership of local congregations who are beginning ministry together this summer.  The sessions will cover topics such as choosing the pace of change, pastoral priorities, and building trust, and include opportunity for conversation and planning within local church groups.  These sessions will be held in person and are designed for the pastor and members of the SPRC (or Lead Team if the church uses a single board leadership model).
