As we do every year at Annual Conference, West Ohio Disaster Response Ministries will be collecting kits and supplies for Midwest Mission Distribution Center, a cooperating depot in the UMCOR relief supply network. This year's collection will again include the Bishop's Hands of Hope Challenge, where we see which District can contribute the most items! Below is a list from Midwest Mission of their most needed items, but all kits and supplies on this webpage will be accepted.

Midwest Mission's Most Needed Items

  • Twin sheet sets
  • Pillows
  • Home Care Kits
    • Liquid household cleaner (56-80oz)
    • Dish soap (42-64oz)
    • Liquid laundry detergent (100-150oz)
    • Scrub brush
    • 5-gallon bucket with lid
  • UMCOR Hygiene Kits
• New or Gently Used:
  • Wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches
  • Splints, braces, medical boots

Supplies will be collected on Thursday, May 28, from 8:00am-5:00pm, and on Friday, May 29, from 8:00am-1:00pm. Take all donations to the Midwest Mission truck located in the turn-around area across the street from the Capital Center. Please do not bring supplies into the Capital Center where Annual Conference is being held.

*In order for your donation to count toward your District total, be sure you FILL OUT THIS FORM and give it to the Midwest Mission personnel at the truck. Count each item individually, so a pack of 3 onesies would count as 3 items, not 1.*
