I am pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Barbara Sholis to serve as Assistant to the Bishop, effective July 1, 2013. Rev. Sholis will follow Rev. Randy Stearns, who will begin a new appointment leading Faith Community United Methodist Church in the Ohio River Valley District in July.For the last two years, Rev. On March 2, 2012, a tornado damaged over 400 homes around Henryville, IN which is 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky. West Ohio has an opportunity to work with V.R.O.C. (Volunteers Rebuilding Our Community), who are coordinating long term recovery from many denominations and support groups. This will be a general construction project.
