Last month, volunteers and others completed work at Wesley Camp and Retreat Center to clear debris, demolish structures, and perform other necessary tasks to prepare the location for its Spring 2026 re-dedication.

Additional work at Wesley Camp and Retreat Center included demolishing structures, repairing building interiors, reclaiming the lake, adding a dining hall ramp, and installing a new water filtration system.

As these updates have brought renewed energy to the camping ministry, camp director Rev. Abby Lightle, is excited about the possibilities for the future:

“I’m excited about creating those safe spaces for campers, staff, and adults to come and disconnect from the world and be in a space they can really focus, dive into their faith, and wrestle with it a little bit,” Lightle said.
