Volunteer Opportunities Available This Fall at Camp Wesley

The demolition stage of Camp Wesley is complete, and construction will soon begin.

In the meantime, we are seeking skilled volunteers to assist with tasks that are not major construction projects, including building kitchen cabinets, repairing storage sheds, and trail maintenance. The projects are planned for the first Saturday in September, October, and November.

If you can lend your skills, please bring your tools and join us for fellowship and fun each Saturday from 9:00 am- 2:00 pm at Camp Wesley, 653 Township Road 37 E, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

Below is a projected schedule with the project focus on each day.

Saturday, September 6- Repairing the bridge, small storage sheds, and deconstructing the seating in our outdoor worship space.

Saturday, October 4 - Add a new seating area to our outdoor worship space.

Saturday, November 1 - Repairing kitchen cabinets in the dining hall and the residence.

All volunteers will receive lunch and water. Individuals and groups are welcome to volunteer. If you bring a group or have questions, please contact the Director of Engagement with Children, Youth, and Young Adults, Rev. Ann Marie Carley (amcarley@wocumc.org, 380.223.9369).

If you cannot attend in person, please join us in prayer for Camp Wesley's past, present, and future impact.
