The Expanding Connection Book Club will be gathering on Tuesday, November 18th from 7-8:30pm. This month’s discussion will focus on the book My Body is Not a Prayer Request by Amy Kenny.
"My Body Is Not a Prayer Request: Disability Justice in the Church" is a powerful and thought-provoking book by Amy Kenny, a disabled Christian and advocate for disability justice. In this work, Kenny reflects on her personal experiences within the church to highlight the unintentional ableism often present in Christian communities.
