This year’s Annual Conference opening worship could use your voice! The West Ohio Annual Conference Worship Planning Team invites singers from across the state to come together as a Mass Choir for Opening Worship on Wednesday evening, May 28. This is a wonderful opportunity for churches of all sizes and communities to contribute to the shared worship life of our connection.
The Mass Choir will be directed by Jeff Daubenmire in collaboration with composer and worship leader Mark Miller, who will be with us throughout the conference. The choir will present two of his original songs as part of the Opening Worship service.
In preparation, a single rehearsal will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 7:00 PM at Powell United Methodist Church (825 E. Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio). For those unable to attend the rehearsal but still interested in singing, accommodations can be made by reaching out to Jeff Daubenmire. Choir members will also gather for a sound check and brief rehearsal at 5:00 PM on the day of the performance, May 28, at Capital University.

Church music directors are also welcome to gather interest among their singers and submit participant names directly. Don’t miss this chance to be part of something truly special. Come sing, come worship, and help us rise up as we begin this year’s Annual Conference.
