Please use this link to send your greeting Bishop and Mrs. Palmer.
Thank you!

Bishop Palmer and our Amazing First Lady Cynthia, Thank you for your incredible leadership. You have continuously pointed us to Christ and charged us to faithfully carry out our call. You have inspired us with the hope of the Gospel, leaning into the exceedingly and abundantly more that God has in store than all we could ask or imagine. Bishop Palmer, the words from Psalm 78:72 are on my heart to describe your leadership like that of King David's, "And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them." Thank you for the ways you've shepherded the people of West Ohio with integrity of heart and for the ways you've led with skillful hands. You've cared for both the heart of the people pointing us always to Jesus, and you've administered the work of the conference beautifully.

Many Thanks!

Dear Bishop Palmer, You have been a wonderful inspiration to me as you share your thoughts about how to make disciples of Jesus. You say what is in your heart and soul and bring others to Him with your bold preaching that proclaims the faith you have. I certainly admire how you speak the truths of this world and talk about ways to engage with others who need Jesus and who need a helping hand. You have encouraged me to live a life that shows my own faith and helps me serve others with humility and love. I wish you and Cynthia a wonderful retirement and some more relaxing days ahead. You will most certainly be sorely missed here in Ohio. Thank you for your amazing service!

Many Thanks!

Bishop Palmer, Just thought I'd take the time to thank you for your outstanding leadership as the Bishop of the West Ohio Conference for these past 12 years. I have always been impressed with your "lively" sermons, your willingness to always tell people what you thought / not what others wanted to hear, and your unfailing ability to "get things done". You will be missed at West Ohio, but I'm sure this won't be the last time we see you around. Best wishes to you and Cynthia on your retirement!

Congratulations!

Congratulations, Bishop Palmer, on your retirement. We've been exceedingly blessed to have you as our episcopal leader! I'm grateful to have served under your leadership and truly appreciate your Christlike heart, sincerity, sense of humor, diplomacy and the respect with which you treat others. One of my favorite quotes of yours is "Charge it to my head and not to my heart." You've said this when, for instance, you may have mistakenly overlooked the raised hand of someone wanting to speak at Annual Conference, and I believe it speaks to your deep integrity - that your heart is full of love and kindness and if you accidentally hurt someone it's only because you're human and it's not because you intended to do so. Thank you for leading with love.

Based on the turmoil affecting our local church, the type and variety and intensity for your position is beyond imagination. Your dedication to the future of the Church is appreciated and is a source of wonder. How a single individual can survive is a wonderment of Power. Well Done!

Bishop Palmer & Mrs. Palmer I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it's been to have you oversee our conference. Your leadership and patience has created a warm and inviting atmosphere during what has been a very turbulent time, from COVID-19 to disaffiliation you've overseen all of this with a calm yet firm manner that has allowed all people to feel seen and heard. Your sermons and messages have always filled me with the spirit and touched a part of my spirit. Your passion and knowledge will be sorely missed. On the other hand I'm excited for you to enjoy some well deserved rest and I'm sure no matter what you will continue to make good trouble! Thank you for all you've done for the West Ohio Conference you changed us for the better, I believe that in my soul and we're closer to reflecting the kingdom of Heaven!
