Dear Clergy and Lay Members of the Board of Ministry,
One of the great joys I have as your Bishop is convening the Clergy Session which includes the Clergy and Laity of the Board of Ordained Ministry. On Wednesday, May 15th, we will gather at Christ Kettering United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Road, Kettering, Ohio, 9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon.
Our theme for Clergy Session is, “God is Able.” The Scripture reference that will guide our work together is Ephesians 3:20-21,
“20 Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us; 21 glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus for all generations, forever and always. Amen.”
To prepare for our time together, your pre-registration is required. Please use the link below to care for letting us know how to prepare light refreshments, materials, and seating for you.
The deadline is Monday, April 15th. We will send the Business of the Annual Conference (BAC) document to pre-registered participants with your reminder prior to the gathering. There is an opportunity for you to participate not only with your presence but also with your gifts. Your generous donations will go to support the costs of Clergy Session and Young Clergy Recruitment and Retention, these gifts will be shared equally.
