Rev. Sam Holmes, Lead Pastor of The Point 937, part of West Ohio's Gem City Collective in the Miami Valley Area of Ohio is the Key Note Speaker. His message is titled "How to Live Freely & Lightly" and will encourage you towards spiritual renewal.
The afternoon will feature many options for a break out session with topics on Next Gen and Youth Ministry, Men's Ministry, Spiritual Gifts, Extravagant Giving and Spiritual Growth.

You're invited to an enjoyable afternoon of learning, fellowship and collaboration. Doors will open at 1:30. Devotions will begin the day at 2:00 followed by our keynote address from Rev. Sam Holmes. From there you'll attend 2 workshops of your choice.

Sam Holmes is the Lead Pastor of The Point, a campus of the Gem City Collective. He will teach us how to live "freely and lightly" based on Matthew 11:28-30.

Maumee River District – Saturday, January 27, 2024
The traditional Regional Leadership Training Day is coming January 27, 2024! This year is special! Our keynote speaker is Kay Kotan from Kansas City, Missouri. She is a United Methodist lay person who has devoted her life to strengthening the local church. She is the author of numerous books on developing lay and clergy leadership, strategic ways of planning ministry, and uniting the mission of the church through an accountable leadership structure. She comes with years of experience, having coached hundreds of local congregations, clergy, and United Methodist Conferences.

After lunch, the breakout workshops include simplified accountable structure, local church finances and local church trustees.
