The West  Texas disaster is among many in the news this week. The United Methodist Church in West Texas has been directly affected by the fertilizer plant explosion,  and surrounding churches are opening their doors to serve in cooperation with emergency management. On March 2, 2012, a tornado damaged over 400 homes around Henryville, IN which is 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky. West Ohio has an opportunity to work with V.R.O.C. (Volunteers Rebuilding Our Community), who are coordinating long term recovery from many denominations and support groups. This will be a general construction project.
