Leadership key to a successful ministry in smaller church settings. This class will cover practical ways for being the kind of leader that brings vitality to your setting.

Proverbs 11:14 says, “Without wise leadership a nation is in trouble.” That’s true of every single area of life and of the church. Without that we are in trouble. We have three leadership problems in our culture and world that we will explore. • Determining the difference between a celebrity and a leader. • A shortage of good, Godly leadership. • The wrong kind of leaders.

The goal of “Ministry in Smaller Church Settings” is to provide a process to improve leadership skills at church. Topics to be covered that will address leadership problems as they relate to smaller church settings will be: The Foundations of Leadership; Leadership Skills; Practical Ways to Mentor; and the Temptations of Leadership. Finally, we will include some tips in executing your vision. Our material will include original materials developed in the rural Southeastern Ohio that have proven to work in rural as well as urban and town settings.
