CAN Brown Bag Lunch and Learn: Adaptive Leadership
Tuesday, May 7, 2019 - 11:30am to 1:00pm
Capitol Area North District

Join us for our next Brown Bag Lunch and Learn - Adaptive Leadership: Tips and Tools for Leading in the Church Today.

Tuesday, May 7, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm, Held at the West Ohio Conference Center, 32 Wesley Blvd., Worthington, 43085
Instructor: Rev. Dr. Suzanne Allen, Asst. to the District Superintendent in the Ohio River Valley District

One of the few things we can be certain of in our culture today is change.  As the world transforms rapidly around us, the church often struggles to keep up. We wonder how to do ministry effectively, while at the same time, as leaders we are often looked to for guidance. Join us for this workshop as we grow in our understanding and practice of adaptive leadership within the church. Tod Bolsinger’s book, Canoeing the Mountains:  Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory, and Bishop Schnase’s reflections on the Five Fruitful Practices ten years later in Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations will help guide our discussion.  Please bring your lunch; light snacks and beverages will be provided.
