Nick & Renee Shaw

Nicholas Shaw, pastor in The West Ohio Conference, received his Master of Divinity degree from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Miami University (OH). While serving at several churches in West Ohio, Nick and his wife, Renee, felt called to missionary service. Renee Shaw earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Miami University and most recently managed several coffee shops in the Columbus area. Nick and Renee have four children: Harrison, Porter, Simon, and Corbin.


Nick and Renee will serve as missionaries with The United Methodist Church in Lusaka, Zambia. Nick will serve as a Church Developer, coordinating and developing the work of the UMC in Zambia, as well as equipping local pastors and lay leaders. Renee will be the Volunteers in Mission (VIM) Coordinator and Christian Education Trainer, planning mission work for volunteer teams and raising funds for church construction.
