The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, founded in 2010, is a ministry of The West Ohio Conference. Now in its ninth year of ministry, the Charitable Pharmacy depends on volunteers for a variety of tasks necessary to the Pharmacy's daily operations. Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dietitians/nutritionists, and others in the healthcare industry are always needed. However, even church outreach groups or UMW circles can help out! Non-clinical volunteers are utilized to organize mailings, spruce up the office with a fresh coat of paint, and especially to sort medications that are donated to the Pharmacy (under the supervision of a Pharmacist).
If you or your church group have an interest in volunteering at the Charitable Pharmacy, located at Livingston UMC in Columbus, please email charitablepharmacy [at] gmail.com.
