North Katanga Wings of the Morning is an aviation ministry of The United Methodist Church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Wings of the Morning provides vital services to millions of people, including transport of critically ill patients to hospitals in larger cities, as well as delivering medications, vaccines, and supplies to remote areas. Kamina Children's Home in the North Katanga Conference provides love and support for young people who were orphaned by war in the DR Congo. For these youth, The United Methodist Church is their family - helping them grow into successful, independent young adults who will make a difference in their communities. GIVE NOW!

House of Hope (Casa de la Esperanza) in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico, helps children learn and flourish in a loving environment when their parents are not able to care for them. The staff at House of Hope works to nourish the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health of these precious gifts. GIVE NOW!

 

West Ohio Disaster Response provides assistance for large and small disasters occurring within our conference. From the Dayton tornadoes of 2019, to the Marion flooding of 2020, to the ice storms of southern Ohio in 2021, the West Ohio Conference has supported the needs of churches and communities in the aftermath of disasters. U.S. Disaster Response through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) provides assistance and training in the aftermath of natural disasters across this country, including Puerto Rico. An increase in the number and severity of natural disasters in the past few years has stretched UMCOR's human and financial resources to the max. GIVE NOW!
