The purpose of Stewardship 101: Growing Generous Givers is to equip local churches to develop generous stewards to advance their mission and vision. However, the culture of a smaller church has many nuances that prevent application of some strategies. Toward that end, a workshop focused on smaller churches has been developed that takes into consideration the unique issues of smaller congregations, both rural and urban. Pastors, finance committee members, stewardship team leaders, and church leaders growing generosity would all benefit from this workshop. The next session will be held at Shawnee UMC in Lima on Saturday, August 11, from 10 am - 2:30 pm, with check-in starting at 9:30 am.
