Social Media of Church Recognized for Influence

In the last few years, many congregations have engaged in ministry, intentional using technology to reach beyond the walls of their local church. At Christ UMC Oregon, making connections using social media has become their focus.

Christ’s social media team led by Morgan Williams implemented strategies that have resulted in new and stronger relationships in the local community. In addition, the social media engagement led to increased membership and giving. Alignable named Christ UMC second runner up for “Nonprofit Influencer of the Year for Northwest Ohio.”

According to Alignable's analytics, Christ UMC reached more than 39,000 people throughout the 2021 calendar year.
