Camp Widewater Honored as Business of the Month

Each month, the Henry County Chamber of Commerce selects a business of the month. This month, West Ohio's Camp Widewater was given the honor. “I have worked with the camp director, Rachel Palmer, on many projects. It was my honor to select Camp Widewater this month,” said Joel Miller, director of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. Congratulations, Rachel and Camp Widewater!

Camp Widewater is nestled in the arms of the Maumee River and the fertile farmlands of Northwest Ohio. Experience 106 acres of gentle hills, new grasslands, old forests, and miles of beautiful, winding, walking/running trails offering views of God’s creation that inspire a sense of peace, renewal, and “being home.” Come out to camp and see for yourself how God’s love can be felt in the great outdoors.

Harmony Lodge is the hub of Camp Widewater where groups of all ages and abilities gather for fellowship, worship and fun! Carpeted and air-conditioned, Harmony Lodge provides an all-accessible environment.

Excitement is part of the Camp Widewater summer camp experience as well: whether discovering your first crawdad, katydid, or humming bird, jumping off the inflatable Saturn into the pond, creating a tidal wave at the pool, or shooting your first arrow, discovery is inescapable here. You will sense Jesus more clearly, grow in your spirit, and leave more confident of your God-given-gifts than ever before.
