Making disciples within the bounds of the West Ohio Conference can be as vital and diverse as mission work around the world. From rural Appalachia to the inner cities of Columbus, Cincinnati, or Toledo, West Ohio’s Local Mission Partners (also called Conference Advance Special organizations) are extending God’s reach to the least and the lost among us. Church and Community Workers – missionaries that serve within the United States – are serving with poor and marginalized people to help take the Church into the community, and to bring the community into the Church. Prison Ministry has become a special focus within West Ohio, bringing partners together throughout the Conference to reach into prisons and provide opportunities for returning citizens to minister among us. And CDF Freedom Schools continue to help students across the Conference fall in love with learning.
