Crucible Class 4 Event 1
Crucible is a two-year transformational leadership academy designed to facilitate holistic clergy development. Through times of large group learning (retreats and one-day), monthly cohort meetings, and partnering with laity in their ministry settings, Crucible participants have the opportunity to deepen professional competencies, as well as, nurture their own personal wellness. The Personal Development Retreat is the first gathering for Crucible Class 4.

The Personal Development Retreat, the first Crucible gathering, sets the tone for the entire journey. This will be a time of worship, learning, building relationships with a cohort group, and setting personal goals for both life and ministry. The schedule is as follows:

  • What do I need to pack?
    Towels/Sheets/Pillows are provided. Please bring your own toiletries.
  • Do I have a roommate?
    No. Everyone has a single room, however, there are some rooms with a shared bathroom.
  • Is there air-conditioning? Yes.
  • Is there internet?
    Yes, in the primary meeting space. Cell phone reception, however, is sporadic.
  • What is the attire?
    Casual. Please be comfortable. Also, there will be time to walk/exercise so please bring appropriate footwear.
  • How do I prepare?
    You will receive a registration confirmation e-mail with further instructions.
