One organization/individual cannot do the heavy lifting of reentry alone, especially during the pandemic. Local reentry coalitions are designed to help everyone lift together. On Tuesday, July 7, from 12:00-1:15 pm, join the Ohio Association of Local Reentry Coalitions (OALRC) Executive Team for a live discussion about their efforts to proactively respond to the challenges of reentry within local community contexts. They will discuss the vision, mission, and purpose of OALRC, in addition to exploring how reentry coalitions across the state are working to reduce recidivism and increase successful community reintegration during the pandemic. Actionable steps for improving policies and practices, community partnerships, and working with state agencies will be provided. Guest speakers will include Mr. Tom Luettke, OALRC President & The Reentry Coalition of Northwest Ohio; Ms. Jamie Gee, OALRC Vice President & Montgomery County Office of Reentry Manager; Ms. Diane Bricker, OALRC Secretary & Delaware County Director of Reentry; Ms. Kysten Palmore, OALRC Past President, Interim Treasurer & Dept. of Youth Services Deputy Director of Community Engagement & Reentry.
