Pastoral Care at its best is Congregational Care, the community of faith relating to and reaching out to one another.  We all have a story.  We all have had experiences where we have needed the pastor or a trusted friend to walk with us.  Caring for others is a privilege, takes time, requires a willingness to give of oneself, and demands of us compassion and confidentiality.  Caring for others pastorally is a God-calling.  

This course is designed to:  ​

• Give you a biblical understanding for lay pastoral care,  
• Give you some basic tools to prepare you for stepping into a ministry with others, and 
• Give you a beginning understanding of and a sensitivity to situations and conditions that you may encounter when calling on others.
