Do you find it difficult to wait on God? How long do we have to wait? Am I the only one with questions about God’s plans for me? During our Clergy Spouse Retreat, we will be taking time to think about and discuss these questions while we study the book “Wait and See: Finding Peace in God’s Pauses and Plans,” written by Wendy Pope.
The Spiritual Center of Maria Stein is located on 87 lovely acres with a pond, paths in the woods, and a prayer labyrinth conveniently accessible. We will be enjoying private rooms. Registration begins at 6:00 pm, but you may arrive as early as 2:00 to have your own private retreat time. Your district is subsidizing the cost to make this weekend possible for you for only $50.00 per person. This includes one night’s lodging, breakfast, lunch and extras.

An Extra Night? Why, Yes!
Taking a little extra time to retreat away from the day-to-day responsibilities we have at church, work, and home is not easy to do. While you will benefit much from our traditional Friday evening through Saturday retreat, some have asked in the past about taking one more night to reflect and “take in” their experience with God and others over the weekend. This year you can! At your choosing, you may stay at the retreat center Saturday evening. No meals would be included (see Dining information in this brochure). The extra night’s stay will be an additional cost of only $56.00. Please select “two nights” on your registration and increase your check value appropriately.
