Arrival and Check-in

Map and Directions to Lakeside Chautauqua: Lakeside Chautauqua is located on the Marblehead Peninsula, halfway between Toledo and Cleveland on Lake Erie's south shore. It is easily accessible from the east or west via Interstate 90, Route 2 and Route 163. 


Gate Entrance & Parking: Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community and all gate fees have been waived for our annual conference.  You can enter Lakeside at the South Gate. Parking within the gates is extremely limited. If your housing is on-site, you may park and unload near the location of the housing. After unloading, please park your vehicle at the South Gate Parking Lot or one of the other parking lots off-site. Shuttle service is provided from parking locations within the gates of Lakeside.


Clergy & Lay Member Check-in will take place at South Auditorium where you'll receive your name badge and other relevant information. Check-in will start at 1:00 on Sunday, June 3 and will resume at 7:30 am on Monday, June 4. If you registered you still much check-in to receive your name tag and other materials.


Public Safety: Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community that offers several different housing options, event space, several parks, shopping opportunities, dining facilities, and even a movie theater all of which is primarily within walking distance. Though walking is the key mode of transportation you will still encounter cars, buses, shuttles, golf carts, bicycles, and scooters to name so please remember to adhere to all traffic laws, signs and pavement markings, bicycle laws and pedestrian laws in order to keep everyone safe.
