Hand in Hand: Leading in Anxious Times
Join friends and colleagues hand in hand for the 2018 Clergy Day Apart on December 4 at Bethel International UMC in Columbus. This is an event for all active clergy serving in ministry in The West Ohio Conference including those in Extension Ministries. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Magrey deVega, Senior Pastor at Hyde Park UMC in Florida. He will make two presentations and assist you in meaningful conversation with one another around leading in anxious times. Lunch and breakout sessions will be included. The event is free however there will be an opportunity for free-will giving.

The Rev. Magrey deVega serves as the Senior Pastor at Hyde Park UMC in Florida. He is an Elder in Full Connection in the Florida Annual Conference. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area and received his bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College before going on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary of Dayton, Ohio.  From 2007 to 2015, he served as pastor of St. Paul’s UMC in Cherokee, Iowa. He is an accomplished author of 10 books his most recent being "Hope in Hard Times: Lessons on Faith from Elijah and Elisha". He has two daughters, Grace and Madelyn.
