During Spring Break this year, Toledo Campus Ministry (TCM) took a team of students to serve at Black Mountain Children's Home in Black Mountain, NC. The home was established in 1904 and places children as young as 6 weeks old in family settings on their campus. During the week, the Toledo team painted, repaired sheds, cleaned out cottages, played with the children, and built friendships. "My favorite part of the trip was engaging with the children at Black Mountain and spending late nights with the college students," said Kenya James, Service Chair for TCM. Toledo Campus Ministry is an ecumenical, multicultural ministry that partners with The United Methodist Church.
