Grant opportunities are available to churches with a passion for prison/jail ministry that are equally passionate about engaging their community in supporting returning citizens and their families.
The 30-For-30 Pilot Program and grant works with AIC community partners to identify 30 inmates who have undergone cognitive behavior therapy while incarcerated. These 30 inmates will be matched relationally with 30 congregations in the inmates’ home neighborhood. The AIC Community Partner, AIC church, and returning citizen will work together to identify the needs, community resources, and relationships necessary for successful re-establishment in the community.
“30 For 30” churches will receive training in Healing Communities, Reentry Mentoring, and Community Engagement to help prepare them to be a supportive community from release to re-establishment.

The West Ohio Conference also offers a Revitalization/Capacity Building Grant that congregations may apply for to assist in expanding their prison/jail ministry into other areas of reentry ministry.
