2014 Next Generations Leadership Summer Interns

You are here

On behalf of the Next Generations Leadership Team, we are excited to introduce the summer interns that will be placed in local churches to discern God's calling upon their lives!  With the help of West Ohio ordained clergy members, these interns will be able to gain invaluable, first hand ministry experiences that will help shape and clarify their discernment throughout the summer.  We invite you to pray with us that these interns may feel God's presence and hear His calling, as they devote their lives to Him.

Hey, West Ohio!  My name is Rocky Riddle, and I have the privilege of being part of a team that coordinates summer internships for college-aged students to gain experience in the local church.  Upon recently graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Music Education, I plan on attending United Theological Seminary in the fall to pursue a Master's of Divinity. My hobbies include disc golf, laughing, singing, sports, speaking, and motivating people to their abosulte best.  My home church is Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, and I will be working at the West Ohio Conference Center this summer.  My prayer for this summer is that God may open the eyes, ears, and hearts of the interns listed below so that they may see, hear, and feel His true calling in their lives.

My name is Caleb Harper and I am a sophomore at Indiana Wesleyan University. My major is Christian Ministries, and I am a pastor's kid. I play rugby at school and am involved in a couple of organizations at Indiana Wesleyan. I live my life to serve God and to help further his Kingdom in the world. My passions revolve around music, rugby, my family and the Word. I hope that someday I will be a pastor in the United Methodist Church and a Chaplain in the United States Army. My attitude is always optimistic and joyful, as I find my joy in the Lord, and I carry that optimism and joy everywhere I go.
