This annual training event for clergy and laity includes worship, a presentation by keynote speaker Sheri Chaney Jones who will discuss mapping a strategy for your church's future, two workshops of your choice, fellowship and lunch.
Mapping a Strategy for the Future is the theme of the 2017 ORV Leadership training day taking place Saturday, January 28 at Armstrong Chapel UMC.
Joining us this year will be keynote speaker Sheri Chaney Jones of Measurement Resources in Columbus. The ORV District has entered into a contract with her to help us plan and clarify our desired future vision and evaluate the current state of our strengths and opportunities. A strategic planning process is vital for congregations as well; this training day will guide you in aligning your mission, culture and performance to achieve new levels of impact for those you serve. Workshop sessions will cover a wide range of topics from discipleship to church legal issues to evangelism to stewardship.
NOTE: Each class has limited space and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
