This candidate registration module ties directly into the new West Ohio Conference database, called The Connection.
When you log in to register, any information typed into the registration screen will update your permanent record on file for you with the conference. Therefore it is very important that when you register you log in as yourself, not someone else.
After logging in, clergy and laity who have provided their district office with an email address will see their current contact information fill in automatically on the registration page so it does not have to be retyped. Please edit the information if it is incorrect and your permanent record will be updated in The Connection. If you are unsure what email address is on file with the conference for you, please contact your district office and they can assist you.
In order to use the system, you must have a unique email account, not shared by another user.
To log in and register as a candidate for election:
FIRST TIME USERS:
Click on “Create a new account”. The system will ask you for a username and your email address. You must have a unique email address not shared by anyone else. If after you fill out the information, the system tells you that you already have an account based on that email and you don't know the password, click on “Request new password” and it will email you a link to create a new password.
RETURNING USERS:
If you’ve previously registered for an event with the Conference using The Connection or have already created a user account in this system, please login. If you've forgotten your login, please contact your district office. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can “Request new password” and an email will be sent to the email address on file for the user name.
If you log in and your contact information does not fill in the event screen, please contact your district office and find out what email address is on file for you, otherwise you will create a duplicate account.
